A strong
showing of exhibitors and trade visitors at the largest-ever
edition of Istanbul Jewelry Show I
Jewelry
industry professionals gathered once again at the 22nd International
Jewellery, Silver, Watch and Equipment Fair held on March
22-26, 2006 at CNR Expo Center in an overall area of 50,000
square meters with 924 exhibitor companies which of 374 from
32 countries and 550 of local companies successfully exhibit
and promote their products and innovative designs. Retailers
and buyers were enthusiastic about the new lines, new designs
and new ideas from all over the world for the upcoming season's
purchases.
Istanbul
Jewelry Show has attracted a total 28,581 visitors of which
6072 international buyers from 81 countries, and 649 press
representatives both local and worldwide.

the CEO of Istanbul Jewelry Show expressed that "Istanbul
Jewelry Show has offered local and foreign trade buyers plenty
of choices, models, designs, full range of jewelry from all
over the world with perfect quality, value pricing on every
category, high-volume production and delivery capacity, short
lead times, delivery from the stock, guaranteed customer satisfaction,
uninterrupted customer service and so on. This year, we have
put more emphasis on the designwork, giving more space to
jewelry designers from all around the world, building and
promoting worldwide awareness of fine design jewelry. Dreams'n
Designs Pavilion was the glittering section of the show. Istanbul
Jewelry Show has the largest ever participation of national
pavilions from Hong Kong, Italy, Spain and Thailand for the
first time. It offers the right sources leading the right
partners ensuring long term profitability for your business.
The feedback we've received since the closing of the show
has been very positive, now we feel more confident that we
are on the right track towards being the world leading marketplace
for jewelry."
In a survey
of visitors, 81% of the surveyed visitors said that they thought
overall the fair was 'successful' and found the products they
are looking for. In a survey of exhibitors, 71% of the surveyed
exhibitors had new business contacts, 98% told they would
'certainly' be taking part in the next show. 72% indicated
their satisfaction of the quality of the services, 76% of
the exhibitors rated the international buyers as 'satisfactory'.
